Georgie Williams- Host and Founder
(they/them)
Georgie Williams is a professional gender and sexuality consultant and a graduate of the MSc Gender programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science. They specialise in Transgender, Genderqueer, Nonbinary and Intersex research and education and founded the /Queer project in 2018. Having deferred their doctoral position (secured at University College Dublin) in 2019, they decided to commit themselves to producing free, accessible educational materials around the subject of gender, sex and sexuality. These materials are produced through interdisciplinary, intersectional and intentionally decolonial lenses.
Georgie identifies specifically as genderqueer and as pansexual, but aligns above all else with the word they use the most; Queer.
eden gard- Social Media Manager

Eden Gard is a transgender woman from London UK. after obtaining her bachelor's degree in Fine Art, where she studied gender and sexuality in religious practice, she began working as a graphic designer and illustrator. In her personal projects she enjoys combining makeup artistry with 3d scupture to distort and dramatise portraits, reflecting her own personal entanglements with gender and sexuality. She hopes to refine and expand upon the visual assets of /Queer and grow the platform, to help ensure that it's recources and education help those who need it.
Sam Clay- Audio Editor

Sam is a Game Designer, musician and audio editor of the /Queer Podcast. As a core member of our team since early 2020, he is responsible for ensuring every story in every episode in the series can be broadcasted loud and clear to our listeners around the globe.
RUFUS DEAN- FUNDRAISING ASSISTANT
(THEY/THEM)
Rufus currently works in the charity sector in addition to their work as part of /Queer, and has experience in supporting both economically and socially vulnerable groups with work around refugee support and wider cost of living of living assistance. They are incredibly happy to be able to be part of a project furthering queer histories and granting greater voices to global queer communities.
Having received a masters focusing on the intersectional nature of social politics and conflict, they are incredibly passionate about ensuring that queer voices are heard and considered as part of all struggles for justice across the globe.
Rufus is, in addition, a theatre practitioner and playwright.
EL HARPA- FUNDRAISING ASSISTANT
El is a Senior Fundraising Consultant at a company that supports small charities and grassroots missions to become financially sustainable. Graduating in 2018 with an MA in Gender Studies, El is thrilled to finally have the opportunity to join fundraising with queer activism. Outside of work, El reads a lot of spooky sapphic novels, writes poems sometimes, and keeps family recipes alive.
Taha Atayist- Research assistant

Taha is a Sociology Graduate who is very passionate about world justice, human rights and gender equality. He has experience in research about Queer popular culture in Morocco and he has volunteered and worked with many Youth and Human Rights/Queer NGOS. His academic work has manly focused on youth in the Global/Local dynamics in the ‘Globalization Era’.
By joining /Queer as a research assistant he aims to bring a global impact to his activism.
June Dhanara- Translator (Bahasa Indonesia)

June is a transgender man and our resident translator from English into Bahasa Indonesia, as well as one of the stars of our podcast (EP.9- Queer Voices in Yogyakarta, pt.2). Based in Yogyakarta, he serves as our go-to for translation of audio and text and is currently producing Bahasa Indonesia transcripts of our Indonesia-based episodes to improve the accessibility and reach of our project.
Bronya Smith- Transcriber

Bronya is a 23 year old bisexual cisgender woman from Cornwall, UK and the resident transcriber and administrative guru for the /Queer podcast. In her own time she works in Human Resources and, given the remote nature of her hometown, has primarily learned about and engaged with activism via social media.
She states that being a part of the /Queer team continues to be one of the greatest things she has done for her own education- her sensitive and culturally conscious transcription maintains our accessibility as a project and ensures that, in her own words, “/Queer is for everyone”.
